My tank has one fish; a bubble eyed goldfish. I thought it was a boy. I looked in the tank tonight and there are eggs everywhere. Is this a standard thing when there is not a male around? Is there anyway the eggs will hatch? My fish is eating them and I want to get them out if they will hatch. I was out of town so I'm not sure how many days they have been in there, possibly 3 days. Please advise.

It is possible to buy female goldfish with eggs and lay them in another tank. But if im not mistaken they will need the sperm to actually grow?

I don't think the eggs are going to hatch, without the milt that the male will spray?

it isnt possible for it to hatch the milt is required to fertilises the egg so that cell division wil occur without this it will just go bad within days its just like the chicken egg we eat only this egg will last longer before it goes rotten
