I just bought a new filter and set it up. And I'm pretty sure its way too big. Its called penguin mini powerfilter. It says it silently filters 100 gph... My question is is there any way to decrease the amount of flow out of it? Or should I just return it. and CAN I return it if I already put it in my fish tank? It was $21. Did I just waste a lot of money?

Also I got freeze dried Tubifex Worms. Whats the difference between tubifex and blood worms. And Posiedon doesn't seem to be eating them... He doesn't seem to eat anything. You think22 just wait and eat them later?

I've heard other people say that their bettas won't eat the tubifex worm either. Mine really likes the bloodworms. But, don't just leave the food the tank if he won't eat it. This will pollute the water and, I believe but i could be wrong, will send your ammonia levels haywire.

How long have you had Posiedon? If he still stressed, he may not eat. When my little King won't eat, someone suggested that I leave his lights in for a half hour before I feed him because that was how she got er fish to eat. Give it a try. Posiedon may just be a picky eater. My Benson won't even touch the BettaMin flakes I bought him, but he gobbles up the worms and Betta Bites.

Umm.. As Far As Returning The Filter After You Put It In The Tank..
Just Take It Out,Remove The Filter Cartidge And Throughly Clean The Filter Itself. Then Let It Dry Completely And They`ll Never Know tongue.gif
