I bought proper ph 7.0 the other day, when i used it my fishtank water went misty. The instructions said that this would happen if i had hardwater, but it also said that all filters would clean this up quickly. I left the tank overnight and when i looked in the tank this morning the mist is still there . why hasnt it cleared up? if anyone could tell me what to do i would be most grateful.

What is the pH of your tap water? It's best not to tinker around with the pH if you don't have to.

Im not sure what the ph was, but it dosnt matter, the fish are fine. The water took a couple of days to clear so i dont think i will be using proper ph again.
