Well had to go to LFS today to get some food, and boy guys....I need to stop reading posts of you guys and your snails!! Casue' I almost bought a few...they had apples, black and white (and blue I think) mysterys. and ramshorn!! Heck they had two black mystery snails that were larger than golfballs! Huge I'm telling ya! Plus they were all.nice and healthy looking! But I left with none...how come?? Well....

My 75gallon is a few days away from being cycled completely....which means I will be pretty much moving most of my fish into it by wednesday or thursday...with the exception of keeping one fish in my 20g (but still having space open for one more fish)---That space will be filled though by thursday because our LFS will be getting an order of pandas in...we have been waiting for one anxiously...and now that we have the space for one is even better!! --So the boyfreind thought it would be better to wait until we get everyone moved into their permenate home before we worried about getting a snail and having to move him too.(No unwanted stress caused )

So who knows, maybe by the end of this week or the begining of next I might have a snail finally!!

Erica, it never stops, does it? Today a snail, tomorrow a ......dojo, maybe? Been there, done that!! I love the black mystery snails, or the pale looking Ivories...Or some golden apples!!!.....sigh....

Well...I went back in today to the LFS to pick up my long awaited panda, and she is swimming happily in her temporary 10g home by herself until we make sure she didn't bring any unwanted buddies home with her. We have named her Mila(mee-la) and she is as cute as a button, I will post pictures of her tomorrow becase I'm sure she had a long day even before she got in my hands(she had just arrived at the LFS and been put in a holding tank before I picked her up) so I put her to sleep for the night.

So, snails?? They were almost completely out of snails today!!! I couldn't believe that in just a few days the were almost sold out!!! So no,...still no snails for me.
Maybe yet later on another date.

Congrats Jillian on your new snail....I almost bought a black mystery the other day when my snail craze started to hit.....he was the size of a golfball....but he was gone today when I went back.

i love watching my snail oscar he is so neat to watch you will love it when you get one. i was always scared that there would be probs had him for almost 8 months, and no probs . i like to watch him eat on the glass its pretty neat. you wont regret it
