My betta used to blow bubble nests constantly during the summer, but for a long time he hasn't. Is this a seasonal thing? He is also look the best he has ever looked before. I used betta fix remedy for his fins and it worked great, I reccomend it if your betta's fins are ripped or ragged looking.
Black oranda
Usally bettas make bubble nests because they are happy
or for eggs. But i don't think you have another betta with
him of course?

Mabye he's stressed, hes in a new tank with a filter. Also the tank comes with the filter but it seems like its too strong. And the tank says its for bettas. It is 2.5 gallons. Should I just take the filter out and up my water changes? Or mabye replace it with those filters that just stick on the side, do they move the water?
Fire & Ice
I bought a 2.5 gallon tank for bettas. I came with a filter, light and a divider. The filter is a whisper. On the back of the filter there is a flow control. I keep it on low and my betta seems to do very well. I still keeps the water clear but doesn't seem to move it around too much.
