Hi I am looking to add a few tiny fish around about 1" to my tank to add more life. They will be living with my fantail and the Black Moor, weather loach I will soon be buying. I was wondering what are the best types of small fish that will survive with GF? and what temperatures will they require?

I personaly find it is not best to mix goldfish with
any tropical fish.
Anything smaller then the goldfish mouth shouldn't go into the
tank because the goldifsh may end up haveing them
for lunch.

White Cloud Minnows. I have them with a dojo and fancy goldfish. No compatibility issues, but I do have to make sure the shy dojo gets enough food.

There's a good earlier thread about minnows in this forum.

But many goldfish folks agree with Black Oranda and prefer to keep the goldies separate. There's lots to be said for the simplicity of care and the elegance.
