I'm using the Canon 300D/Digital Rebel (6.3 mega pixel cam). smile.gif I've been loving the good close-ups I get with it!

Prior to trying to photograph him, I didn't realize that snails looked so interesting up close. smile.gif It's been really nifty.

I posted this photo on one of my photography forums, and someone actually identified it as a "Gold Inca Snail", also part of the Apple Snail family. I didn't realize it, but there are groups out there trying to ban the sales of these kinds of snails, because they are considered a nuisance to the natural enviroments??

I think that is correct in some places of the world
they are considered as pests.
