Full Version: Got A "mystery" Snail

I've got one goldfish right now in a 5 gallon tank (the sales rep also recommended getting a 10 gallon plus, which little "Bubbles" will eventually be moved into... I have a 90 gallon in storage). The sales rep suggested that instead of getting an algae eater (because of how big they grow and the size of the tank) to instead get a snail. I told him that I would prefer a breed of snail that can't multiply on its own. So we ended up picking out a white/ivory "Mystery" snail. Man do they move!! I bought Algae chips for him to feed on. I've never had a snail before. Are there any special requirements for them??

Thanks!
