I was wondering what your opinions are on the TetraTec Power filters.

My sister used that for awhile on her tank. Works pretty good, from what I saw.

My boyfriend's brother has one of those on his 26 gal tank. It makes a horrid noise even though he's only had it for about 2 months (so it's not delipated due to old age or anything.) It sounds like a gurgling toilet to me. There is an outflow tube that is supposed to provide extra "biological filtration" that is the culprit. I dunno, I tried to sleep in the room it's in once and couldn't., it was way too noisy. I swore id never buy one after that. <_< and I'll never reccomend one either.!
