let me try again. my ph is fine 7.6, but my gh is 35. if i fool with my gh will it affect my ph. i hate to get out of wack with my ph.
koko
The Gh is the hardness of the water which you dont need to play with its the KH that is the important thing with fish. The KH will help keep the PH to be stable. So I would check your KH and see what the level of that is. Now moving the KH can adjust the PH but in slow bits.

The GH only needs to be changed if the fish need hard or soft water or the plants need it. Goldfish in general will adapt with hard or soft water biggrin.gif

How do you raise the KH huh.gif

The easiest way to raise it is by Crushed Coral in a bagy in the tank. I have some in my Canister filter, I use a 1.5 cup per 20 gals biggrin.gif
