i'm going away for the weekend and i've just bought some Algarde Weekend Food Blocks, have any of you tried weekend blocks?

are they any good?

do i need to worry over the weekend?

i've bought and used them before and they worked fine with my goldies. I have comets and commons. i wouldn't recommend them for any other type of tropical or minnows only because i had two minnows and they didn't eat off of it at all. How long are you going away? What type of fish do you have? How big is your tank? How much do they usually eat? How big are the blocks? How many fish do you have? lol

also, i wouldn't use them for more than 4 days of vacation because when i came back i noticed they all hate white poop ( the color of the block) and their color was more pale than normal, so it can't be too nutricious for them BUT on the other hand, goldies can go without food for a few days anyway.

ALSO bla bla i bought a mechanical vacation feeder after a while, it makes me feel better lol

i have 2 x 3" fish (1 fantail and my new chocolate oranda) in an 11 gallon tank (temporary while my 29g is re-cycling after problems)

i'm going tomorrow morning till Sunday night.
