Im just wondering since today im probly
going to be getting my first apple snail.
will they eat all plants?
In my tank i have Philidorthan plant with some java moss,
will they attend to eat these plants?

When I bought my first 3 apple snails a few day ago, the lady from the store asked me if they come into a planted tank, just to warn me that they might end up eating or chewing on some plants....

My apple snail chowed all my plants to the nub within a week of getting him.

I guess ill have to feed him alot? lol
i can provide some vegies for him will this be
a good part of his diet?

I read someplace that, when you don't have much algae in your tank, you can put a slice of cucumber in, that something the snail would it...

i think i heard this as well Andrea.
But my tank is full of algea and hope he cleans up
most of the algea before more fry come along.
