i'm happy now
dyson (as he's been named) came out last night from his hiding place behind the filter - i know this because when i woke up this morning the big rock in my tank that was covered in brown algae had been eaten clean in places(!). then this afternoon when i was just sitting watching my tank, i saw him stick his head out frmo behind the filter, then flit down onto the rock and start munching
and the other fish didn't bully him - yaay! they've clearly got used to him now, and dyson feels he can come out without fear of being attacked! this makes me far happier than it should do
but there you go! i have a happy tank again! alex
i lack a digicam, and my regular camera just doesn't work thru aquarium glass and water...i'm trying to borrow a digicam tho, and then there will be pictures galore 
of course i talk to my fish goldfishman - they're the only ones who will listen to me(!)
