Hi I keep reading about this 10 gal a fish idea. The info I was given is each fish needs 4" squared per inch of fish. I'm thinking of buying a bigger tank but don't know the gallons the above would hold. c u Paul

If I did my math right it is 11.22 gallons, 2592 square inches.

yep! bigjk is right on the money. you would only be able to house 1 goldie as per the 10 gal per goldie rule. and youd eventually have to get a bigger tank once your goldie "outgrew" it.
