OK on this site i saw that it said that goldies liked eggs. I would have thought that they would like eggs.

so my questions are
1. what part do they like yolk or white
2.how do i cook it
Ranchugirl
Cooked egg yolk is generally fed to fry only, not to adult fish, simply because the particles are too small for goldies to actually see and grab, and yolk is a very messy food. It is excellent for the little goldfish babies though...smile.gif

huh.gif The only thing is how do i prepare the egg for the fish?
i imagine u would hard boil it but i am not sure
Ranchugirl
Yeah, hard boiling is the way to go, then cut the yolk up into bite sized pieces. When feeding them to newly hatched fry, dissolve the yolk in a teaspoon or two of water, until its more liquid, and put it in the tank...smile.gif
