I haven't been able to find any wen-enhancing foods at my local petstores. Are there any 'name'-brand foods that work well? Are there any 'people' food that promote wen growth?

Generally, food with a higher percentage of protein is good for wen growth. Hikari makes a particular blend, lionhead enhancer, which is profen to work well on headgrowth. Other things are frozen bloodworms and brine shrimp....

What a handsome fish, Albert! My fish love brine shrimp, so I bet Conan will too. I am thinking about trying the Hikari too - so let me know how it works out if you decide to go that route!

So far I haven't been able to find it at a lps, but I'll probably order some from online. I've been giving him some blood worm treats, and I just made a gel food that he seems to love that has blood worms, tubifex worms, and some high-protein food in it.
