i posted a while back about guinness constantly being up blazes backside and him having really pronounced tubricles etc but she wasnt laying any eggs which i thought was because there were no plants. so i went out last night to get some plants special and the mood that has lasted nearly 3 months has passed. guinness is no longer after blaze or any of the other girls in the tank. what went wrong?

maybe if you dim the lights, light a few candles and put some barry white on the radio, they will get back "in the mood". rofl3.gif

seriously though, im sure youve read about lowering and raising the temp with the addition of earthworms to their diet, you could get them back "in the mood". how about trying that? smile.gif

i think you should do a couple of large water changes and
feed live food to your fish
this might get them back in the mood
it is very hard to force a goldfish to breed as there mood
frequently change
sometimes they chase each other for hours and nothing eventuates
and sometimes you are caught by surprise
its the luck of the draw sometimes sad.gif

yeah, when i do large water changes, guinness seems to be more aroused than normal so ill try that again. also i shall feed them some tubifex cubes. i hope they breed. theyre going to be some funny looking babies!
