my tank is 3ft long and 1/2 foot high and has a width of 1/2 foot how many three inch fantailed fish could i get in it . i also would like 2 no wat kind of ornaments should i put in the tank. hah.gif cry2.gif

Sounds like a 30 gallon, go going by the 10 gallon rule 3 goldfish could go in there. biggrin.gif

i kind of think i would be able 2 fit 10 in but i dont realy no i want mor than 4 but i dont want 2 be crewel

my tank will be 36inches long , 16inches high and 15inches wide.

My tank is 12" x 8" x 8" and that is on the small side. Your tank sounds like a tube of some sort. You sure you got your measurements right??

APM, it looks like your tank is about 37 US gal, or 31 UK gallons. This would be a good home for two or three goldfish, depending upon the types you get.

As for the ornaments, that's just a matter of personal preference. Nothing too pointy that they might damage themselves on, and nothing so large that it makes it difficult for them to swim.

Do you have any fish yet? Have you read up on cycling? smile.gif

yea so after some major conversions thats like 37g or 144L ish.

but all i can say is METRIC PPLS!!!! I'm gonna start a metric movement soon...
