Oh darn! If it weren't for living on the other side of the world, I would have gotten him in a beat. I've helped correct bad cases of new goldies I bought before.:(

if anyone here lives in ny, i saw 3 or 4 longtailed lionheads at Fishtown USA in Flushing- 19633 Northern Blvd, Flushing NY...i visited over the weekend and just fell in love with them, but i don't have any room :( What's worse is that all the goldfish in the tank were sick...i really wanted to rescue one or two but i want the best for them

He is absolutely adorable. I am sorry it took me so long to get back with this. I am more than willing to pay for shipping, and I can mail supplies. If this is going to be too complicated, however, just let me know.

Just a thought, but any chance you could just ask the shop to reserve him for you? usually they'll put a 'not for sale' or 'sold' sign on the tank and not sell to anyone else - that way you wont run the risk of someone else buying him...

I actually tried that, but they wouldn't hold him. I'm totally happy to ship him if you can explain the process to me. I'm in Oakland for work now, so I probably wouldn't get there until this weekend and then could ship him on Monday. Assuming the cutie pie is still there. Yay! I would love to see this guy go to a happy home!
