these are mine gold fish food

from the left (champion goldfish pond middle quality food but easy to digest it for the fish,
Sanyu goldy its quality food and it include the most important vitamin , Sera goldy color high quality food this food is the best food for the goldfish, Sera wells chips this food is for thorback ray fish and again you can see champion food for breeding fish

and other staff for water softer Sera Aquatan
Sera Nitrevect : know as a biostarter
contra icho and Sera Amnipur : against for the parasite

The technique and equipment which need for the goldfish aquarium What we are need for healty goldfish tank?

Firstly I have point it out some critical points. As we all know that most commen problem of goldfish is suffer from ‘’constination’’ in that matter, I recommended to feed your fish in many different food not only one type of ‘’dry food’’ and if you feed your goldfish with vegetables like
Peas , spinach that make your care much more easier therefor excellent solution for constipation and other intestine problem. In addition I gave my goldfish carrot as well, it makes good goldy color ;)
or an other way to stop constination is feed your fish with different types of food while you are see my goldfish food in top of the page I feed them four times during day sometimes 3 times but golden rule is never to much you have arrange the amount of it.
They mostly like the Sera goldy color.

Nots : you can watch my tank video from this link

My tank: http://www.youtube.c...h?v=eW-kGsIGaUY

For disease
The classic disease of goldfish is Ichthyophthirius know as a ‘’white spot’’ it is very commen and it accure when differences in water tempature and a lot of strees can be your fish sick I use ‘’Bio Contra’’ against this sickness and I believe that it is more usefull than the other medicine in the stores if you carry out same things in instructions you will see drop out the white spot form your goldfish body but the golden rule is if you use inside filiter you have to take out of the filiter sponge. Because harmfull bacteria take a place in the sponge and they are growing in the there
You have to put the sponge in boild water added some salt and bactaria killer or buy a new one :)
I want you to remember that Ichthyophthirius is not a terrifiying illness if you take care of it when it began

Sera amnipur : this medicine is very effective bactaria killer. Unfortunately It can destroy the bio chain in the tank and the greenish color which the medicine spread all over the tank.
And this sediment don’t leave the tank for a long time while use this medicine you have to ve filitered and give oxygen

I had to use this drug during the 8 mounth period just for 1 
And I am lucky because I have had figure it out realy quick

You are not going to face with kind of this problem After bio chain get established in you tank.

Sera aquatan: Some aquarists use sera aquatan after every cleaning procedure in specific ratios. I was once using methylene blue and rock salt after every water change, but after a little research have learned that using methylene blue at every water change causes the death of beneficial bacteria. So I am using one day rested water for the water change. If I am going to use the tap water, I add sera aquatan to a bucket of water 2 days before I use it. As you know sera aquaten is a regulator of water and works after 24 hours

Sera nitravect: we know this product as a bio starter mostly use this medicine after the medicine used in the tank never forget that there are much more things that miss the eye.
Bio chain is one of the best rule for healthy and fancy gold fish in that matter this Sera equipment is very important for your tank and it has to be movable

Water tempature: as you all know that goldfish love the cold water available water tempature is likely 20 – 24 c it is changeable according to condition.

Light: light is important like do in everyfish you can use day light if you have plant in your tank

Filitration: according to the tank capacity definitely.Advised one is out side filiter but it is possible to use inside filter it is up to your tank carrying capacity.

Plant: gold fish cant live all kind of plant actually plants cant live those little monsters!  because they can eat everything that what ever you give them in this way commendation is choose hard leaf plant like anubias

Sand: it is not advising to use small sand kernel because there is a high your fish can swallow tiny kernel

Little rock much more suitable than the small sand kernel.

Important annotations: One of the most important rules in a gold fish aquarium is to remind that gold fish are not good swimmers. Because of their bulky body and their inability of shunting, they like to swim in large areas, and that’s why I am feeding two ryukins. As you see in the picture one of them is big and the other is in medium size. I hope I will have a bigger aquarium soon Another thing is be careful no to put sharp-edged accessories in your aquarium, otherwise your fish can be injured. Do not forget that gold fish like clean and clear water like other fish. According to the aquarium’s size, the cleaning interval may vary, but I suggest 2 weeks at most with a 30% water change taking from the bottom. I am doing this every 10 days.

very good info wolkcano this should maybe be pinned i think though there is already a topic similar to this that has been pinned. i also noticed that in your second post in this topic you just quoted what you first said this i would say comes under the rule of posting for no sake since you said nothing and infact if koko sees that she can deduct 20 posts just some info for future reference.

other than that great job :D

yeah i do look at my sig and if you go the photos section there are my goldies they are under the title here are my boys

oh and i want to say something else with filtration goldfish tanks need 10x filtration so just say your tank needs 160gallons of water turned an hour. and undergravel filters are a no no with goldfish. also with sand it is a no no as well as goldfish are foraging fish so when they go to look through sand it gets in their gills and makes it very hard for them to breath this can even lead to death

another thing you did not mention is that single tailed goldies need 20g per fish and fancy tailed goldies need 10g per fish

no, the tank doesnt get any sunlight, well at least not much. But the filter was broken for a week, and thats when the algae came. I use an aquaclear 50 and an aquaclear 30, I also have a fluval 2 plus, but its broken, Im gonna try to fix it, probably just a simple impeller problem. I do a 10-20% waterchange once a week, then a 30-50% waterchange every second week. I vacume the gravel every 2 weeks, and scrub the sides of the tank once a week. I do more gravel vacs or waterchanges if needed. I also run a tetra whisper airpump on that tank. Is that enough info?

yea thats quite enough the algae arise if the aquarium is not clear enough
you said that I was broken my filiter I guess thats the reason why

in my opinion if you have a hospital tank I guess you have? put your fish into your tank and discharge your all tank and clean it with rock salt.

finally you can fill to your tank with fresh water and add some aquasofter in it and star to use biostarter after 10 days you could put the fish in your healthy tank :krazy:
