I live in a rented house so I am not allowed to put hooks or screws in the wall plaster by my power points so I did this instead:

Buy hooks on suction cups (a set of 10 hooks cost me $2.00)
I placed the hook on the outside of the tank glass on the back panel right at the bottom and its just under my background so it can not be seen.
Then the power cords are draped on the hook to form a drip loop.
It was fast and cheap and keeps my landlord happy and my equipment safe :)

Great idea, I've often wondered how to make a drip loop, I'm not allowed to make hole is the wall either, I'll have to try that.

That looks like a pretty good idea to keep chords up and out of the way. But, you want the drip loop in a chord to be right before the chord is plugged into a receptacle. The whole idea of a drip loop is that water can't run down the chord and into a receptacle. The easiest way to do a drip loop is to let the chord go down to the floor and then up to the receptacle. If you have a power strip turn it on it's side and run the chords along the tank base and then up into the power strip.
